^^^ shit posters

Tunguska was caused by one of Teslas experiments gone awry in New Jersey. Google Tesla Tunguska

The eye-witness testimonies are slightly bizarre though. The first describes the sky as splitting apart.
The second hears 5 distinct explosions, described as thunder.
The third said there was a cylinder of white light that descended for 10 minutes, a meteor would take seconds to hit the ground assuming it didn't burn up.
The fifth describes multitudes of thumps, and 50-60 noises akin to salvos of artillery fire.
>>
>>17759715
this all desribes a meteor pretty well. They dont have to hit the ground. they lose most of their energy in the atmosphere

Holy shit, okay. One fucking rock sounds like a warzone. I guess the only thing that really stands out is the "descended for 10 minutes thing".
>>
>>17759127
Asteroid explosion. A big enough one forms a similar fireball and shockwave like a nuclear weapon, the observations also support this conclusion.
>>
>>17759768
>The third said there was a cylinder of white light that descended for 10 minutes
this? this would desribe the smoke trail pretty well, I think

There was a secret daughter of the Georgevna family born with ridiculously high occult potential. She was hidden away from the public when her telekinetic abilities started to become too much for her to control.

After accidentally killing her caretaker and a soldier she planned an escape. Somehow she beat the odds and survived an extremely arduous journey into the wilderness, but without a teacher to help guide her ever-growing abilities she succumbed to the cold and upon her death her mind literally exploded, levelling the trees for miles around.

This is another "vaccines cause autism" case where googling results in bazillion answers for airburst meteor and one result for some wacky experiment by tesla.

What was the man, an electrical/mechanical engineer, working on that would cause an explosion with energy roughly 300 times that of Little Boy, dropped on Hiroshima almost 40 years later?

>>17759127
A meteor detonated air burst 1,000 times the size of the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima.

Plenty more where that one came from.
>>
>>17759127
It was probably a fast and large object that came flying from the sky.

Bullshit that was just crap Edison's people used to discredit him.

That is their hustle.
They steal all your ideas then
Destroy you.
>>
>>17759127
officially it was a astroid that exploded in the air

unofficially it was a weapon test. most likely using a stronger hull for the explosive to force the pressure to collapse inward and bounce back 2 times as strong a few times

modern launched grenades use this to get more bang for the buck its not all from the black powder
>>
>>17763737
The weapon would have to be a nuclear weapon in the several to tens of megatons range, and those were not developed back then. Not for a couple decades.

You ask this like /x/ doesn't have a litany of stupid answers for you.

Totally an asteroid.
>few explosions
Asteroid breaking up in the atmosphere and landing but not packing anywhere near the kinetic energy of an extraterrestrial object.
>many explosions
Same thing. Rocks falling from the sky. More here, less here, less sound deadened by trees here, etc.
>column of light
Or column of smoke. Or column of steam. Or column of entrance trail.
>eyewitnesses
Pickled Russian backwoods retards who would screaming from an electric light because of witchcraft
>Tesla
Stop. No. Lrn2science. We have, guaranteed, surpassed Tesla's abilities and do not have a "death ray" that explodes...air? Half a world away.

Yeah well, i expected someone to blurt out more than "lel death ray", but it didn't happen. I also worded it a bit badly, it was supposed to be more of a yeah, right kind of comment than what it was.

Didn't this event single handedly cause the extinction of the people native to that region?

That's /x/ as it is, no matter what it was.

Was she, perhaps, flying when she died? Whatever happened in Tunguska, happened up in the sky, like a couple of kilometers high. Otherwise there'd be a fucking huge crater.

If you're trying to talk about shaped charges, no, that's not how it works.
>>
>>17765588
Obviously they didn't die straight away, hotshot. Radiation poisoning doesn't work that way.

I think the last one died about 10-15 years later. The Tunguska event was only realised to have happened when some doctors were sent there to see why all the natives were sick and dying.
