We had one of these a while back and it seemed to do pretty well, so I want to start another one.
Abandoned/spooky places/urban decay thread.
>>17757752
Doesn't have to be just pictures, if anyone has stories of spoopy things happening while exploring places like this I'd like it if you shared.
I'll try and write some up myself.
>>17757797
my personal fave
>>17757854
Alright, I have quite a bit more but I'll be slower with dumping them.
I approve of this thread
Where did you get all these pictures from?
>>17757971
Mainly from previous threads like this.
>>17757943
I'm glad anon, they're my favorite threads on /x/.
>>17757943
That just isn't natural.
>>17758034
I would hope not
>>17757943
Chernobyl? Or is it an art project?
I can't imagine how so many gas masks would get abandoned in a place that doesn't seem to be a military base unless it was Chenobyl.

amazing though, how little time it takes for everything to revert and nature to take over. reminds me of a song

Posting to save until im on a computer.
Because some of you are useless and arent labelling where these places are.
>>17759824
fine, I'll never save an image off the internet again unless I know where it's from.
some urbexers deliberately don't post the location of the pics they take because they either want to save it for themselves or they want to keep taggers out. so on some of these, there will never be sauce.

This is one of those greek temples, where you had to climb to visit an oracle.
Shit, looked for my collection that actually had the location with them and apparently they were on the hard drive that failed a while back.
>>17757783
Do you think an abandoned house like that would be a good place to commit suicide?
(Speculation only, no need for intervention)

Wear a mask. We have some extra >>17757943
I'll contribute something.
Near where I used to live was an abandoned looking house with a name on the mail box that read "Petersen"
We started calling it "Old Man Petersen's House". It looked abandoned - overgrown lawn, broken windows, paint peeling, falling apart, an old rusting pick-up truck in the front etc. Badly in need of a lot of repairs.
Never once saw a light on in the house, even though I regularly walked past it at night (coming home from work).
Did, however, occasionally catch a glimpse of some movement behind the curtains. Probably squatters or something.
Any way, pic related. I don't have any personal pics of it, so I just pulled one off google street view.

Anyone from NW Ohio know of any abandoned/creepy places? I really want to know where the Restless John farm is located, if it's actually an existing place.

This architecture is gorgeous
I'm gonna dump some shots from a few places I've been - they're not particularly good shots and may not be particularly interesting, so if you want me to stop, just say so!
