Learn French - it's from pg 90 of the 1521 French version of the Red Dragon. This Chapter (X) is discussing the Secrets of the Alchemist Artephius (12th century). It is part of a number of symbols to be applied or used or signifying the powers for Venus (and / or Friday). You're trying to take one symbol out of twenty out of context. That's the best I can do for now. (I don't speak French)
