real way is to light the smudge. imagine the negativity leaving your house. and fan the smudge with something. open all windows so the spoops leave.

1. Either buy or harvest sage
2. Light it on fire and then blow it out so it's letting off lots of smoke
3. Walk around the room, making sure each corner gets a good amount of the smoke
4. If there's any left, allow it to burn away in the centre of the room
