So I'm sick of sleeping and decided that seeing as I will have a job with no set work hours (or at least ones u control) I decided to try to 20 minutes of sleep, 6 times a day tactic. I'll go slow

My question is, can I replace sleep with meditation? Ive never been able to do either very well, but I long to one day call myself a Buddhist. That day is a long day off, however. ..

You have to go to kamaloka and devachan during sleep, a circuit of the spheres. That's what sleep is. So until you can reach those realms during meditation, meditation won't be a substitute for sleep.

OP here, never heard of that stuff. I will still continue to try and mediate (I have IED) but it looks like the 6 naps are a better bet.
