kilroy
Your thread is bad and you should feel bad.
when I was a kid my dad drew this and told me it was always written with 'WOT NO DINNER?" but when I read about it as an adult I learnt about the Kilroy thing. But then googling 'wot no dinner' shows a bunch of kilroy pictures so it must me a known thing. Both phrases dont make much sense with no context, I guess thats the point.
Also, when I was in school it was this thing that everyone drew.

It's a crude pre-Internet meme, proving that memes haven't yet been fully understood/developed.

I'm 33.
I deleted the picture because I realised what I wrote didnt make sense with the picture. What I mean to say was that my dad told me about the kilroy/wot no dinner thing but when I was in school everyone drew pic related, which is another sort of pre-internet meme type thing

I thought that meme was from WWII when American soldiers drew Kilroy everywhere they went.
The oldest internet meme i can remember is probably All Your Base are Belong to Us.
