I just wanted to see if anyone else on /x/ sees things. Not hallucinations, but rather creatures, ghosts, energy, or spirits in any capacity. I think the spectrum of what people are able to pick up on is insanely variable and needs to be discussed some more!

I see all sorts of entities while in and out of sleep, mostly in sleep paralysis.
When you talk about it people just call them hallucinations.

Those would definitely be called hallucinations, and are awfully common and scary to experience from what I hear! More or less, though, I'd like to discuss either tangible or inter-dimensional beings.

I think that's what they are but you can only see them in altered states, perhaps because they live alternate realities! Makes sense to me.
Most off all experiences you will read about are people seeing these things in altered states.

I see monsters erupting form my body like angry giant spiders and insects and crawling all over the place, I also see huge tentacles coming out of me and raping everyone around me. I have literally no control over any of it.
I only see it when I imagine it though, but I also dream it sometimes.
I couldn't begin to really explain what I see in a way for most people to picture it themselves, but I personally believe that what I see is from a different dimension. I guess I can sense things on a different vibrational plane, and whatever that plane is is either layered right next to our reality or is leaking into it.
For instance, imagine staring into a light for a couple of seconds and seeing the spots for a few moments afterwards. With the same amount of length, I see mobile shadows of all sizes and colors doing different things.
I also see balls of light, or orbs, in all different colors and sizes. I think that any situation that's particularly emotional or intense releases energy and that's what I see. I've also witnessed, once, a softball-sized glowing gold/white orb that was VERY sentient and was different from the non-sentient energy in that it chose it's directions and seemed to have purpose.
