In this thread, let us post those cases that show the greatest chance of having actually involved contact with a legitimately paranormal/supernatural entity or force, and compelling reasons for this.

The Cash-Landrum Case:
>the three witnesses developed similar symptoms indicative of damage from ionizing radiation and from potentially "infrared or ultraviolet components", as documented by the medical staff that attended the victims; and although others contested the idea that the victims were exposed to radiation (with some suggesting a chemical aerosol), no one ever contested the actual existence of a number of odd but very visible symptoms in the witnesses of the UFO (skin sores, hair loss, weakness, blistering, diarrhea, etc.)
>the three witnesses said the heat emanating from the UFO was strong enough to make the car's metal body painful to the touch - when [Landrum] touched the car's dashboard, Landrum's hand pressed into the softened vinyl, leaving an imprint that was evident weeks later. Investigators cited this handprint as proof of the witnesses' account; however, no photograph of the alleged handprint exists (though documents from the court case from investigators attest to its existence).

I believe that the Cash-Landrum witnesses definitely observed something out of the ordinary, though discerning its nature (UFO or secret military project?) is more difficult to ascertain.

Ayahuasca-consuming tribes in South America prove the physical existence of information or "knowledge" that the human brain can access through altering it's state or focus of its consciousness.

Ayahuasca tribes all consistently claim that while on the drug they are obtaining knowledge from the universe around them, from living plants and animals and non living spirits. "The mind tunes like a modern radio, to different frequencies, on a minor level in day to day life" - searching for plants to harvest and being wary of the forest, to spending time with the family and being wary of children. But it can tune much more drastically through meditation and defocusing from this human viewpoint with a list if things to worry about. Alcohol, fasting, and certain plants aid with theach process.

A certain ritual and diet is used to change the bodies chemistry. This helps Ayahuasca be more effective.

In this mental state, Shamans are able to find plants with very precise medical applications that only work in conjunction with other very precise plants. It's as effective as modern day chemistry to create drugs.

Shamans boil plants for certain amounts of time who's fumes are poisonous at certain time frames, whose ingredients must be added at precise moments. A medicine can cure a snake bite that would otherwise be lethal.

autism: the post

Those cultures have existed for thousands of years. It's considered fringe by science and most likely unacceptable to the masses.

Look up "the cosmic serpent", pick up a damn book.
