News is super light this week. I managed to dig up one story about scientists trying to reverse brain death, and that's kinds sci-fi/spoopy, so I'll throw it in.

Paranormal News of the Week
A groundbreaking trial to see if it is possible to regenerate the brains of dead people, has won approval from health watchdogs. A biotech company in the US has been granted ethical permission to recruit 20 patients who have been declared clinically dead from a traumatic brain injury, to test whether parts of their central nervous system can be brought back to life.
Scientists will use a combination of therapies, which include injecting the brain with stem cells and a cocktail of peptides, as well as deploying lasers and nerve stimulation techniques which have been shown to bring patients out of comas. The trial participants will have been certified dead and only kept alive through life support. They will be monitored for several months using brain imaging equipment to look for signs of regeneration, particularly in the upper spinal cord - the lowest region of the brain stem which controls independent breathing and heartbeat. The team believes that the brain stem cells may be able to erase their history and re-start life again, based on their surrounding tissue – a process seen in the animal kingdom in creatures like salamanders who can regrow entire limbs.

In the latter half, Dr. Mark Pitstick, MA, DC, shared evidence-based answers to important questions about spirituality and the soul.
Thursday: Ghost Hunting/Mind Power
In the first half, Hollywood ghosthunter Rick McCallum talked about the many ghost hunting locations he and his ghost hunting group have been to, and the inexplicable paranormal activity they've seen. In the latter half, noted chronicler of the occult and esoteric, Mitch Horowitz, shared practical methods on how to use the positive powers of your mind to improve your life.
Friday: Hutchison's Experiments
Guest host Richard Syrett welcomed John Hutchison, a self-taught Canadian inventor who has become known around the world for his remarkable experiments that show physical phenomena that are not explainable by conventional physics. Open lines followed.

Then, the ancient skeleton known as Kennewick Man is related to modern Native American tribes, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Wednesday. After the break, Kyle brings up one of the most mysterious missing person cases ever “D.B. Cooper”. To this day, no one knows his real name but on Nov. 24, 1971, everyone in America was talking about the mysterious man who called himself D.B. Cooper. That day, Cooper hijacked Northwest Airlines Flight 305 and its 36 passengers using a briefcase that he said contained a bomb. He was never seen again!
