A simple blessing from an anointed personage or a dip in holy water will make your Louisville Slugger into a holy avenger no prob. Good for all problems with manifested abominations unto the Lord. You may hear a thing or two here and there about ghosts and other paranormal stuff, but it's kind of difficult to get hard evidence.
I have read Der HexenHammer, and from that book, apparentlys knights of old have tried to kill demons with their blades, but apparently, demons can manipulate the very air around them, to such a degree that they can displace the air, "their body" around the blade itself, and then reform themselves afterwords. Preventing themselves from actually being cut by the blade.
It may be possible, but then again, I doubt a blade could actually harm them.

It probably is. I got a ghost to leave because every time I'd get wasted I'd go into the shower where she resided and try to get her to have sex with me. Whenever she started spooking, I'd say "are you finally coming around, girl?" I am kind of sad she's gone, I got used to the spooking. It's too quiet now. Some people just don't fear unexplained stuff, or are high libido alphas that just wanted some ghost loving.
tl;dr I scared a ghost off by constantly trying to seduce her.
