>John Podesta, campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House, has buoyed UFO disclosure campaigners with a series of shocking responses to questions from a TV reporter.
>Podesta was previously an adviser to President Barack Obama and chief of staff to President Bill Clinton.
>In an interview with CNN, he stressed it was time for the government to "release any evidence it has about the existence of alien forms of life in outer space."
>He said: "The US government could do a much better job in answering the quite legitimate questions that people have about what's going on with unidentified aerial phenomena."
