I got two realistic creepypastas for you.

>Penpal
It's about a boy being stalked by an unknown man while his mom mentally breaks down knowing she can't do anything to prevent him from stalking or harming her son. The only downside to this is that it's very long. Would recommend hearing the story instead.

Text version: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Footsteps
Audio version: https://youtu.be/DIhLDKrePPY

>1999
The story of a man retelling his childhood experiences watching a channel called Caladan Local that was linked to the murder of children. The only downside to this is that it's incomplete but it's really good.

Text version: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/1999
Audio version: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL376vJF9hLjgdUAgnzLLwfmmoEeKrbSag

These are both really good but similar. If you like one then you'll most likely like the other.

Unrealistic as fuck. Nobody ever leaves their smartphone at home these days. Are you serious? And I know it was a smartphone because he said the apps were draining the battery fast. If it were just some regular, shitty-ass flip phone I'd understand. Plus the girl would have eventually woken up from the heat, beaten on the car windows enough where somebody at his place of work would have noticed her, called the cops and they would have busted her out. He did go to a meeting. It's not like he worked alone in some desolate shithole. Creepiness is subjective.
Also, they put like a million other things on the Creepypasta Wiki that isn't creepy or scary.
Mainly just dark works, like they put Poe's and Lovecraft's work on there.
Also, it's a very real fear for many parents around the world.

50 Foot Ant's Ghost Story or Humper-Monkey's Ghost Story. I read it under the second title when it first came out but I think 50 Foot Ant is what it goes by now. It's a long read, more of a book really, but my love for the military made it worth it.

I would place my vote on Meek
Basically it's this guy who is a hoarder, shut it, and an internet addict. His wife and child basically die in the mess (most likely a figment of his imagination) and his living conditions are so dire he ends up dying also.
>>
>>17631435
To be fair, he only fucked it up because that cunt Thomas Lera was trying to steal his story and make money off of it with "The Fear of Darkness". If the douche-nozzle wasn't trying to plagiarize (and bastardize) the original story, 'Ted' wouldn't have had to come out to call bullshit.

Still a good one though. From what I read, the parts about the cave diving and the process of getting into the tunnel, etc. were all true, it was just the spookiness that was made up.
>>
>>17635670
>Nobody ever leaves their smartphone at home these days
Yes, not a single person, ever, in all the world or all the time smart phones have been a thing, has forgotten their phone at home. That's just IMPOSSIBLE! *sarcasm alert*

and nigger, there's at least a few toddlers who die from heat being left in a car every summer, even in grocery store parking lots, which are well traversed by people throughout the day. God forbid a kid be stuck in a car in some sort of office parking lot, that wouldn't have as much foot traffic throughout the day.

I hate to break it to you, but the reality is that things don't always go perfectly. Things get forgotten. Kids die in stupid, preventable ways. Sorry to burst your bubble, kid.
>>
>>17637139
wasn't 50 Foot Ant a sequel to Humper-Monkey, and by a different author no less? I tried reading 50FA, but just the first few paragraphs had so many holes and contradictions to the original.

I do second the recommendation to Humper Monkey's Ghost Story, though. Awesome read, and is definitely one I consider most realistic while still having the uneasy/creepy feel, and awesome suspense build up.

One of those where you are never quite sure what was going on, even to the end.

Y'know, that didn't occur to me.

What would happen if you just started killing them on sight? They would know you notice them (obviously) but they would also know that they'll get fucking ended if they try any shit. Let's say you also had a buddy who could see them, and you two slept in shifts so that no gristers could get to you while you're sleeping. Let's say that for a period of, I dunno, 2 months, any grister that gets close to you gets shot in the face.

What would happen then? Would they still be hostile, or would they learn and just start avoiding you?

Subtle creepypasta is the best. When you go from a creepy man in a chicken mask fapping while giving an interview to a fucking shaved, painted chimpanzee mauling a woman, you know you fucked up.

I'd like the slap the author in the face for that story, because it had the potential to be the first creepypasta to unsettle me. By the end, though, I was scoffing. useless.avi indeed.

If you can easily find creepier shit that's happened IRL it's not a good creepypasta. Why would you read this instead of reading about actual snuff sites? It wasn't even that realistic really. People always conveniently get sent information that leads them to uncover a dark secret for absolutely no reason in these things.
I don't know, maybe we're supposed to assume the email at the start was just sent to the wrong address or something. Don't use snuff sites but I suppose invites like that could be involved.
