Since two months ago or so, Facebook Messenger changed how their in-app camera operates so that it compensates if the picture is in low light to make it clearer.
If you take a photo in pure darkness it would show some faint details like what you see there. I know because I've tried it. Literally nothing spoopy, fuck you.
