11 is the white number of purity. It's opposite is 13, the number of impurity. It is associated with order, peace, and general homeostasis. It has power over evil, just not as much as 7, (IE 5=Power by force, +6, which is evil. 1 is omnipotence, so obviously power by force doesn't control evil as well.)
It's an impregnable number (like 7, prime numbers and all that), which implies a strong resistance to evil. Another addition combination is 4 and 7 (4 being Souls and the metaphysical, and 7 being the divine. IE your soul becoming one with divinity, and achieving purity.)
