The screaming, she just keeps coming back.

To clarify:
While I'm dreaming and everything's going fine she will scream The loudest most ear piecing scream I've ever heard, and I will arise fully awake, no longer able to sleep.

That's called exploding head syndrome. It's quite common. I've had it dozens of times, usually a loud.. "RARR!", but sometimes a womans scream or loud bang.

Something that cannot be properly described; a sensation, evocation or essence of shorts with which the night hours are infused. All the little things that are promptly ignored during the day - the buzz of electrical devices, the little bugs that crawl out and flutter in the air, the sound of the whirling wind and the distant howl of a dog - gain a new meaning during this time.

I have those nights listening to coast to coast at times. You realize through some subtle nuance that it's all real, and some poor mo'fo really saw that shit, and as soon as you have that next thought -'what's to say that can't happen here?' - you look all around you and decide it might be better just to play it safe and stay awake all damned night.

Mourning for my bloodline.

Parents both died when I was 14. Now I have a son that I don't feel I can raise (lives with his mom), an okay job, a gf who is severely depressed and has a hard time communicating with me or basically trying at life at all, and a mess of issues I need to work out myself, all the while scared of homelessness b/c of bad credit, but also afraid call upon friends to help me. Essentially, a vicious cycle. It's a hole I've dug for myself, but I'm very anxious to make any progress b/c then I have to confront my failings face to face with others.

Mostly just the homelessness right now, but after I figure that out, then just mourning for my son who will always have a broken father, no grandparents to spoil him, and a bunch of shitty excuses for my behavior.

The years of being nocturnal. It's not like I want to be, but even when I was in elementary school I remember being awake almost whole night and being tired as fuck while I was supposed to study etc. Apparently I've been like this since forever. According to my parents and relatives I almost never slept while I was supposed to be taking a nap and I was a bad sleeper during the night too.
It doesn't help that I can't shake off the feeling at night that someone or something is hiding inside my apartment.

/x/ keeps me up at night. I want to start reading books, but i can't afford an e-book reader yet so i read /x/ on my phone (because .pdf books on the phone are so small, they hurt my eyes when i try to read.) Honestly can't wait until i saved up money for an e-book reader, it will be so awesome. Slightly unrelated to the thread maybe. I still love /x/ though, it's one of the highest quality boards on 4chan, no doubt.

OCD, fear of Satan.

I have older parents. My mom and dad have been sick for a while.
I'm only 24.

My biggest fear was my mother dying before I got married/had kids/did something great with my life (other than using my prime to take care of her).
Well, in September (when I was 23), my greatest fear became a reality. She passed away in hospice in my arms.

Now that same fear has now transferred over to my father, who was the healthier of the two.
But it's like I'm in some sick joke. He's had cancer now a total of 4 times. Two times prior, then once in October (it was removed again), then again from February (right after my birthday) until March. He just got back from a major operation and rehabilitation stint. But doctors still say that though all of it was removed, with him having more than one occurrence that they can't promise anything. So basically he's only in remission. And now I have to take care of him like I did my mother.

TTYL: the thing that keeps me up at night is my parents dying. One is already gone, and death wants to take the other one out.
It's pretty hard and stressful on one person alone.

I got a sleeping disorder and I see lights, shadows and repetitive shapes. I also hear tons of shit so it's exhausting. Maybe it's /x/ related because sometimes I see faces and hear voices.
>>
>>17590725
Yep. It all falls on the youngest while my siblings can go have their families and lives.
I say that spitefully when I get angry at life. In actuality, though it was hard on everyone and she's not here anymore, I don't regret it. I'm actually proud that I stepped up and took the responsibility, instead of running like my siblings said. At the end of the day, I did what I promised her and I know she loved me more than anything. And that's a lot more than some people have, even with their parents still alive.
As for dad, of course I'd do the same for him.

It gives me drive. I'm actually going to school for nursing... so when things get bad, I'll have the knowledge and accreditation to make sure he never goes into a nursing home.

Similar here. My grandmother was always so near death and my grandfather the strong one. He was killed in an accident at work and 20 years later she comes to visit and see her great grandchildren.

I hope you get what you want anon but don't let it bother you so much. I wish so bad my grandfather could see the type of man I've become (I was such a weak faggot back then) and could use his advice but his part was done. It's just, you have to understand things as they are, not how you wish them to be.

I'm already in it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I'm not sure if I have felt that. Thanks for the advice anyways.
