Tl;dr I'm lost. In just about every aspect of my life. Kinda like being in a shitty waking dream/nightmare.

Certainly your friends would understand if you didn't go, but all you'd end up with is a learning experience that "I shouldn't give up on plans because of these kinds of doubts".
The advice is to be with your friends and have a good time. If something bad happens, it will only be bad because of your own fears surrounding it. So... running into ex? Maybe... but sitting around hiding from the possibility is the wrong way to deal with it.

No one can read as well for themselves as they can for others, due to bias. It took me a long time to be able to read for myself. Part of the reason I picked up cards was to be able to read for myself, because scrying for myself was brutally difficult up until a few months ago.

I don't read health or death, but I tried anyway. My scrying suggested that she would be wrecked physically, but she would find a measure of internal strength from the experience.

Depending on your perspective, it's either a simple ritual or focused will in the vein of chaos magic.

In magic? Too many. I've been practicing for like 13 years now, and I've been fairly successful. In divination? I used to be engaged to a tarot reader whose future readings were accurate over 90% of the time. I needed no convincing by the time I got here.
