Since the mediums present were regulating the seances and the like. While the researchers didn't have control of the experiment and simply took watch.

It was very spooky. I had nightmares once about being locked in the scole hole and all weird shit was going off with lights and apparitions and shit. Im of the belief that the spirits of the dead are not always what they claim to be.

I did some research on this a while back and as of then, it was not debunked at all.
And ofcourse the mediums regulated it and the researches didn't have full control of the experiment. The mediums knew what they were doing while the researchers were there to observe.
