astute observation. the legal system is based on popular beliefs (in an attempt to control, arguably). if an upfront satan worshiper commits a crime, they are more likely to be convicted than a non satan worshiper. for various reasons. mostly black and white.

depends on where you are. I'm pretty sure there are countries where it's illegal to practise any religion besides the official state religion, but I couldn't name them offhand. but I can't think of any that specifically outlaw satanism.

also I would agree with this. it miiiight be different in countries like norway where they're pretty open-minded /and/ there's a decent black metal following. but pretty much everywhere else, even if it's technically legal it will probably be frowned upon.
