Tonight I'll share my findings from the Galata Tower, keep the thread bumped.
P.S there is a translation error as plinthos in pic related is not brick, but plinth.

>also seek and find, not be found.

thanks for the bump
proceeding dump with Galata Tower
As I've written above, I did not go to the tower with the intention of looking for bricks, but rather something that resembled a plinth. From my previous visit, I knew I wouldn't be able to find much inside the tower.
My reasoning was, tower is basically a column, and the hill its based on is its plinth. Pic related
Can you tell the story since the begining? Where does the message come from, why you, why this place etc...?
You might remember from the previous thread about the snake on the pavement I've shared. Now I took the photo of the building it stood in front of. Pic of snake for a reminder

Are you familiar with Cicada 3301? If not I recommend you to read these because it's quite long to summarize it.

http://uncovering-cicada.wikia.com/wiki/Uncovering_Cicada_Wiki
This is the building right before the snake figure. As you can see, it is quite in contrast with the surroundings, with welded shut facade and big shut door. I've only seen it open once, and some people in suits were walking out from there at night.
The building has a wall, which is again quite high with mesh over it. Notice the amount of security cameras.
>>17534010
Ho, right, I didn't noticed, my bad
>>17534020
It's incredibly hard to obtain an info about this place, but from my research it's told to be an art foundation called SAHA. Shady as fuck, but I'm not sure if it's related to the message. Anyways, compare the mesh in this picture I've pulled from the webz with the previous one, although they have removed the name from the wall.
As I've said, I went to the tower with the intention of primarily checking out the base of the foundation. This is a plaque commemorating the handover of the tower from the Genoese Galata Colony to Fatih the Conqueror upon the Fall of Constantinople, or the Conquest if you'd like it so.
Meanwhile I'll be sharing couple of unrelated photos I've snapped because why not
This one requires the knowledge of Ottoman language. Turkish people are quite cucked because 100 years ago this was their alphabet and now they can't read it, lel.
Fucking cigarette butts all over the place, motherfuckers..
What I did was, I looked for ancient writings on bricks or stones around the base area. Apparently there are replicas of authentic ancient stones, whose originals were moved to the Archeology Museum. I believe that these are the closest we can get in terms of clues for this leg of the puzzle.
Ancient Greek?

As you can see, these stones are at the base of the tower, or as the clue has stated, the plinth of the column. Pic is my view of the tower.
Having looked at everything, I entered inside.
There was electrical maintenance getting done around the tower so half of the perimeter was cordoned off.
Upon entering the tower, you have very limited space to roam. You are immediately ushered to the ticketing section, and then to the elevator which takes you to the balcony for the breathtaking view. That's why I don't believe any clue was possible to be left in the lobby.
This is the imagery upon the info board on the restaurant floor, and you move upstairs to the balcony.

A couple of city views before I get onto the bricks.
The writings on the walls and on the handles were the only possible clues, and although looking through each of them to see if anything resembling a butterfly was there, it's impossible to discern anything from lovers announcing eternal love or people leaving their snapchat accounts. I'll post two of these, and then get on with walking down the tower stairs.

That is a relief from the lobby
And this is a restrictive pole, more like a dildo amirite?
J'Existe! What a profound statement, fucking faggots. Previous IRL clues included a Cicada sticker with a QR code, and this is the closest I could find.
As I've said, if I've not overlooked a critical bit of info, which is possible because the place is packed and I had limited time, most of the clues should be in the first part of the images, based on the replicas I've taken pics of.
I'm done. Good luck

J'Existe stickers are there for a long time, even before this whole cicada thing.
They are probably useless with this case
bump for Cicada
I just noticed this thread didn't think anon would come through.

That building looks shady as fuck.
>>17534556
Best part: I've just read a military report (doubtful) that it's one of the places under ISIS bomb threat.
Thank you very kindly. I have found the way.

Da fuck are on about barton?

You're welcome. It's the years on the info board isn't it?
>>17534460
You focus on one point too much. Look around you more. Listen closely.
>>17534708
those stickers are not just around galata tower. There are some at sirkeci as well.
>>17534708
wut
>>17534137
you have to look around the entire tower your just looking at one certain spot
>>17534144
don't give up you only searched 50% of the tower!
>>17534010
This could be an important clue. Hmmm
>>17534729
>>17534735
Explain why you think so.
>>17536082
Cicada 3301 may now be upping their game to include physical clues. If this turns out to be true, the hunt will probably include tens of millions, as opposed to the roughy 2 million that follow 3301 today.
>>17536866
No I get that. And it's not the first time Cicada has IRL clues. These posters have the impression that I have not looked around the tower, which I did save for a very small portion that was cordoned off, but I managed to get a look at it. I'd like them to explain, or hint, at least to what I have been missing, because I don't feel like there is a place I haven't checked. There MAY be details I've missed but that's not what they're implying.
>>17536940
Ok. I know they have left posters before, but if they are now leaving clues at historical sites, thats upping their game, in my opinion.I am interested in the cordoned off area you looked at. Do you have any pictures? I keep going back to May 1453 and the conquering of the city by Memhet. It was the final nail in the coffin of the Roman Empire.I keep wondering if 3301 is somehow releasing a clue that points to Istanbul being a flashpoint to a new war, or even WW3.

>I keep wondering if 3301 is somehow releasing a clue that points to Istanbul being a flashpoint to a new war, or even WW3.
Exactly my thought. WW3, that is.
Here is the only brick writing on the cordoned side of the tower, it really was insignificant.
>>17536959
Well base-9 1453 is 1101 in decimals.
Crusade of 1101 comes to mind.
1101 binary is 13 in decimals.
>>17537140
Not to mention that 1453 is a prime number.
>>17537082
I think we are on to something here.
1453 is a prime number. Could one of the bricks be lose? Maybe there is a message on the verso of the brick? This is getting really interesting!
>>17537140
Excellent point!
