An opinion is a belief. Believing in nothing is still a belief.

He just means that you should always be willing to change your mind about any opinion that you hold.
The definition of "belief" that he is using is more like what most people would call an "unwavering belief".
He isn't really saying anything too profound but very few people actually do this in practice. Most people are way to fond of their beliefs.
