try to intuit what the question is by seeing the strategy the machine is using to get an answer. Seems like a brute force strategy + evolutionary algorithm that favors certain things more than others. Is it a question of science or faith which is the dominant paradigm?
There's a lot of ways you could make educated guesses about what the question the black box is asking is.
