When cremated, does our spiritual and conscious energy convert to heat energy or remain as electrically based energy?
I wish to know as I wish to figure out where exactly I will be going since cremation is most likely for me. Perhaps /Sci/ is the place to ask, but I will try here.

Then how do you explain the resurrection? If his soul had left there would be nothing there to come back to life. With regards my trip, I still prefer to view things scientifically wherever possible.

I already do believe there is a universal prime mover we could term God.
The soul shapes the body, and as the soul loses it's shape, the body does too - it decays, and returns to the formless source. From the opposite perspective, destroying the body renders the soul featureless.
The soul would be a sphere if the body was cremated, and it would begin to flow into a pit somewhere - such as a woman's uterus - where it would begin to accumulate Fire, Air, Water and Earth around it again until it formed another body.
It unties you from past karma, which can be good or bad - you lose all connection with your family and memory. Keeping ashes in an urn is an important way to stay connected with your family after death, and you can easily attain rebirth in the uterus of one of your female relatives.
