You'll hear people smacktalking them all the time, but when they're around, they actually get along just fine with some straightforward dry banter. It's your basic prejudice with no basis. I feel trump is the same way to a lot of different nationalities, but because he is in such a seat of power, he can't actually express them as such on a public level, but it just leaks through the tiniest bit in his decisions that would otherwise benefit america.

Trump has been a liberal most of his life. He supported most of the shit Hillary campaigns for today. Most Trump supporters gloss over this fact because they are so desperate for a candidate like him that they will get behind anything. Trump has single-handedly destroyed the electoral base of the republican party: evangelical christians and right wing latinos were a big chunk of what put the current establishment of the GOP in power. Trump doesn't appeal to evangelicals because he is as christian as he is a sound businessman, and by being loud and uneducated while referring to latinos, he shat over his possible latino votes. Republicans actuallyhad a chunk of the latino vote because mexicans are all either catholics or evangelical, so they appealed to that sensibility.
Evangelicals will simply not vote for neither Trump nor Hillary in a general election, and latinos may prefer to vote for a soft-right wing candidate like Hillary over a loud-mouthed, orange skinned demagogue that speaks shit about their community and does not represent any properly christian value. This may turn the election in favor of Hillary in a big way.
