Some people definitely believe they can see auras and some go into great detail. I don't see auras but I would be willing to believe if I did see them. I'd just get checked out medically first to be sure it's not a brain glitch or tumor.

I don't know much about it but from what I do know, it seems more like roleplay and wishful thinking than reality. So it's valid in a way but I don't think there's anything truly paranormal behind it. Just another way for people to express themselves.

About the auras, care to elaborate? Are they more of a feeling or are they coloured or what? But then again, you could be hallucinating or something along those lines. I wouldn't read into it too much.
I don't know anything much at all about otherkin...
