I think Tuscaloosa has a paranormal society. You should be able to find them thru Google. I saw their website once, looked around, but didn't pursue it further. I'm sure they'll give you some leads.

From a different area but there is a lot of Freemasonry stuff. There are a few lodges nearby and they post meeting dates in the newspaper. I don't know anything about it but it just seems like some kind of club
