While I'm not really a believer in any of this I'm curious. If all of this were real, would there be a way to summon some sort of entity that I could just talk to? An obvious specification to this is that it doesn't murder me, damn me to hell if it exists, etc.

I think you're looking or a tulpa OP. It's not really magic, you just give yourself a mental disorder where you think that a thought form is real. It will even talk back to you.
It makes me feel sad to imagine that people are so lonely that they must try to summon a paranormal entity just for company.
