I've been really curious about this for a while but does any one have experiences with animals or encountered animals that just didn't feel right? Like they just didn't belong?

My brother gifted me his two gecko lizards when he left for college, after a few weeks I tried to pull one out. As I grabbed him he started like having a seizure and I was left with his tail wiggling in my hand. After that I fed him a giant moth (pic related), he ended up dieing from choking to death. I let the other one loose cause I didn't want to spend my allowance on crickets every week.
