Hey X, so coast to coast just cut out and was replaced with something else after a long lapse in audio, just as a guest about to talk about the national park dissapearences and UFOs was gonna come on. Anyone else experience this or is it just my local station. 870am in NY state btw if that helps

This is OP, anyone know anything? I listen to coast to coast often because I work overnights and this mysterious cut off has happened twice lately but never before. The other time they were going to talk about the government. I find it odd because what they start playing is just random and completely unrelated.

Are the segments being announced from 870am by the 870am hosts? You might be picking up a different show on the same frequency. I was once working off the west coast of Vancouver Island and picked up a very clear signal from a vessel in distress. The coordinates provided placed the vessel in New Zealand. We didn't hear any acknowledgment from the Coast Guard or any station nearby which means that the radio wave bounced to our location but missed the other stations completely.
