OP, original thread was some cameras that were probably provided by a security guard at the hospital. Automated medical mannequins actually do exist, they're used for training. It was a training hospital and the OP of those threads was probably fucking with everyone by moving stuff around even more when no one was looking to generate more content.
It was good fun, but just fun.
