I live in plains of Texas. The soil makes it impossible for basement. Plus the fact that a head of a bird wrapped around by the remaining tendons to the fence is kinda suspicious another pic for reference

It's a dead bird. Not paranormal. We see birds exactly like this in Tennessee all the time. We have horses next to our house that our neighbor owns , and we see animals like this all the time , a bird one time , but it wasn't hanging by its neck.

Not sure about what kind of birds you have there, but where I'm from sharp shinned hawks prey on other birds and are capable of carrying away birds much larger than themselves
