Hey /x/ asking if anyone has had experiences with shadow people / shadow entities. Was wondering what you could tell me about them and how to protect yourself.

I've had lots of experiences. Shadow people in my eyes are just ghosts that haven't fully manifested but are still attempting to scare you. Since they feed off fear and would manifest further if you fed into them, my best advice is to ignore them.
My experience last night for instance.

True story that happened to me a few years back.

One lives in my house. I don't bug it, and it doesn't bug me.
I happen to see them from time to time. One always appears on the road I use to get home for few seconde, tried to photo it but failed horribly. I saw one dashing trough my wall yesterday At evening, too.
However I remember when I was young, like 10 or sth, when I didnt have any friends and situation at home was shitty I would happen to see them more often, and treat them as my friends, talking to them etc.

I was haunted by a shadow man for years, they are the bottom feeders of the paranormal world that feed on fear and tend to appear to people that are emotionally unstable and/or going through a hard time, they also dash and disappear into the nearest wall when spotted (in my case anyway) and I was afraid so much because of the visits every night they became more solid and closer to my bed at night. It got to the point where one was at the bottom of my bed and I jumped up right on my bed because I felt something was there and it had a multicolored outline and when I seen seen the shadow man he imploded on itself. As time went on I learned to overcome my fear and they rarely visit now.

I don't think they are able to make speech, and if they are, they probably don't want to anyway. They'd probably hear anything you say to them, but would leave you without reply. Consider using oujia board to conact them - it actually works sometimes. Other way is probably telepathy, but its only something I suspect.

I used to have a real bad problem with shadows when I was younger. I could never call them "people" because I never saw a definite shape. Like something always just side stepping me.
I grew up in a neighborhood with very few kids my age so I played on my own a lot. Either a near by pond, the edge of wooded areas, or the railroad tracks.
Everything would be fine for awhile then I'd start seeing things move very quickly in my peripheral vision. I could only pass it off as a bird or something so many times before something would conclude my fears.
I.E. sticks snapping behind me or the immense feeling of dread that would overcome me. I'd have an anxiety attack almost, I could not shake the fear that something was constantly right behind me no matter how quickly I turned.
I'd race home so exhausted I'd vomit, only to catch them in my room later that night.
I got to a point when I saw them to simply ignore it and not give any reaction to it and it stopped happening.

I always see the shadow people from the corner of my eyes, they have always been there for as long as I can remember. Well after that I complained to my father in law that his house is fucking haunted and he should bless the house. He got me this red yarn thing, he said some sort of weird chant while cupping the red yarn bracelet shit and then he put it around my wrist. Weird shit stopped happening until I lost the crap.
Also you know what? Remember the thing I said bout weird shadow people shit stalking my baby ? Well like a week before that started happening we went to a Buddhist temple where the monks did this big ceremony thing, they were chanting for hours and what not. They supposedly were praying to their dead family members, But to me it seemed like evil spirits were listening too and somehow followed us

Yes, ouija board can help you to contact them, but isn't working everytime. You can as well contact something that isnt a shadow and only slaims to be one. Its best to use it in the dark, with candles or weak light directed in a way so you can only see pitch black before you while seeing the board clear enough(it takes some time to set it up this way but there is the biggest chance of contacting them this way)

Shadows are NOT demons. They mostly really don't mean harm for the harm itself, though they completely lack empathy and often dont realize they are doing something wrong to people. Binding them would be just cruelty, and shouldnt be executed unless completely necessary.
Interesting note:
When I was I college I was overworked, depressed and sleep deprived. I went to a doctor for some help. One of the things he did was examine my eyes, and asked me the most fucking weird question that could never fully comprehend:
"Do you see shadows? In the shape of puddles on the ground, or sometimes people in the corner of your eyes following you?"
I shit you not, a medical professional, not a psychiatrist, brought this up randomly, and I said no, because I didn't want to be labeled as batshit crazy. I have seen them, not in years now at least... And not enough to make a huge deal of it when he asked. I asked him why, and he informed me that he had a theory that people with certian chemical imbalances, (many associated with stress, fear, depression, overworked adrenal glands etc) often have similar visual hallucinations in his experience. Idk if he was fucking with me, but it seems that if these things feed off negative energy, some sort of open minded professional would start making a connection. Although he insisted they were a product of the chemical imbalance and not something feeding off an imbalanced person

When i came home today, the first thing i wanted to do was litting the candle(i do that for no reason). I had very hard time lighting matches, since none wanted to burn. I keep my candles on my windowsill, so when i got annoyed i took a deep breath and looked a little bit above. And instead of seeing my room in the reflection i saw shadow figure right behind me. Since it was not my first encounter of shadow person, I greeted it and it quickly dashed towards the wall, and then ran away. After that matches would lit instantly.

This is my first experience with either a shadow person or something demonic.
This event happened over a year ago and i git the courage now to right out the entire thing in detail. I am a boy who has had no history with drugs or alcohol and i have not been diagnosed or tested for schizophrenia. I do have a history with depression and anxiety and at the time my depression was worse for a multitude of reason. So, I had just gone to bed around 10 o clock after a regular day of school and soccer practice and i was having a bit of trouble sleeping, i didnt think anything of it at the moment so i decided to turn my music on and listen to that since it helps sometimes. It mustve been about an hour before i began to doze off. Before i could fall asleep i began to get colder and colder in my room and i started to feel worse about things and my mood got worse, i had no idea what was going on so i thought i sit up and turn my phone on a browse facebook. As i sat up i saw it, it mustve been at least 7 feet tall because it reached my ceiling. It was humanoide but very skinny. With long arms that had long fingers jutting out of the hands. It was entirely black and darker than my room which had almost no light in it at the time. Its head was normal but the eyes are something i will never forget. They were like what black holes would look like, it was as if all the light from my room wasnt able to escape them, just staring into them made me feel more hopeless and alone than i ever had before. As i stared at this thing every ounce of happiness i had left just left my body, every reason to live was gone and i couldnt do anything about it. I just sat there and all i could do was that. It mustve been an hour or at least thats how long it felt to sit there. Eventually when i brought up enough courage to stand up i did and as soon as i did it disappeared into my wall and i broke down. I didnt sleep that night and the next day i told my friend who didnt believeme

I have a similar theory. I always see black shadows in the corner of my vision that disappear when I focus on it, when I'm very stressed out or really sad.
Though recently the shadows have been white, which is kind of strange.

I saw one when I was a child. I was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night. I sat up on my bed confused, groggy. Turned to look at the time and saw a shadow. Seemed like it was reaching for something on the shelf. Silhouette reminded me for some reason. Didn't feel afraid, probably because I was still groggy and when right back to sleep.

i've only talked about this a few times because even thinking about it still unnerves me. this was about 13 years ago house sitting for my grandmother. i was 18 at the time and its not really all that scary of a story but was something weird as fuck to experience

Do i just ignore them on all "sensory" levels?
I saw them a lot when I was kid, not sure if they were real or just imagination but it definitely felt real at the time. I remember them looming over me by my bed, with their arms nonchalantly hanging at their sides and their heads kind of slouched down. They always stood like that, it's burnt into my mind by now. There was usually only one at a time, but sometimes another one would stand further away, in the same stance.
As for how I dealt with them, I used to cover myself in blankets and leap towards the light switch, after I turned on the lights they'd be gone for the night. After a few years they stopped coming.

And sleep paralysis can sometimes really mese with you so badly. You literaly sleep in your bed, but you feel yourself walking around the house, you hear voices that are not real, and you always have this feeling that you are vibrating- sometimes you feel like you are a motorsaw and the vibrating can cause you pain. Yet, when you realize, that you are dreaming( I dont think it's astral projection because it is not vivid) you Wake up in your bed, unable to move and you feel a strong presence. The best idea is to just keep your eyes closed, but if having your eyes open makes you feel safer do so, but expect something scary floating or standing in your room, but if you don't break eye contact, it dissapears almost immediately and when it does, I always know that it is not real- it is Me just waking up at the Wrong time of my sleep cycle and it caused sleep paralysis, and every time I hallucinate I Am paralysed- to me this just proves that what I'm seeing is just in my head.
The moment you embrace sleep paralysis as positive experience it stops happening to you. So embrace it As your mind playing tricks on you and Nothing else.
