I think that maybe the internet has kind of 'become' a sort of god, or at the very least a fundamental, pervasive force in our society. We live and die by it, some people derive their livelihoods from it. I sometimes wonder if maybe all of those wifi signals bouncing through our bodies carry a small piece of our souls back through to the Internet. And all of that metaphysical energy accruing with the constant emotional energy of the billions of people who use the Internet, idk, maybe something's brewing, or is already there?
But personally I don't think it's anything to be afraid of. People who rant about how we use the internet too much are either old Facebook moms or Banksy wanabees.

Yes, but it's slightly more complicated than that. The "internet" we use is the true "Deep Web". It is also known as layer 02. What we call the "Deep Web" is layer 03.
There is a 0th layer but we can't reach it (yet)
In truth, our own reality is the Internet we know of. This is layer 01. The physical world. There is a god which had created all 07 layers. of reality (from 01 - 07, 00 doesn't really count as a layer, but a foundation for the others)
There is a "lain" like being in our layers, but it is unlike the being beyond layer 00 (let's call it's place of residence layer ∞ for simplicity)
