The basics. Each planet represents an aspect of you life, the way you deal with those different things. Your are all these signs, aspects of it. Sometimes, one will influence more than the other, since i'm no expert, I'll just say what i'm familiar with.

Yes, it depends on the settings you use to create charts. For example, including or excluding certain points/planets/asteroids, and what types of angles/aspects to include.
If your planets happen to be spread more in a way that increases the number of angles that lines are drawn for, obviously you get more lines.
It's not necessarily good or bad, it depends on the chart and what the aspects are. Basically, just google astrology aspects and read about it.
