What's up, Anon?

t.El Paso Anon

Far as I know, El Paso High is pretty /x/-tier. Do you know much about it? They say Concordia Cemetery is also pretty... odd. Few years ago, some Anon from El Paso made a thread here about having found a jar of purple 'liquid' that was left at a disturbed grave.

There was a house in Socorro where the inhabitants in it claimed that the faces of the Virgin Mary and Jesus appeared on the walls of their house.

Do you know of any places in the EP area that are of /x/ interest?

Obviously, I think Concordia Cemetery and El Paso High School are obvious. Any others you can think of?

>>17443093
As someone not from El Paso (I live in Austin) can you explain what's haunted about El Paso High? I'm intrigued. Have you been before or are you looking to go for the first time?
>>
>>17443093
Not really, I came here hoping to learn about new places

Picture unrelated, Its ghost stories range from sealed off hallways full of mist and strange goo dripping from the ceiling to hidden classrooms beneath the building no one knew existed. The photo of the graduating class of 1985 shows the girl who and slit her wrists and then jumped from the balcony with a misty hallway.

A number of confirmed oddities.

The most well-known is the report that a girl jumped off the last floor of the school (the building is 4 floors high) and died, and that after her death, a 'strange' mist and other odd occurrences led to the entire floor being closed off. This part about the floor being closed off is true. I went to El Paso High once to take an SAT exam, and tried to go to the 4th floor. The hall-way leading to it from the stairwell was gated off and locked, and from the outside, most of the windows are painted so as to give the appearance that they are merely part of the facade.

There's also a number of tunnels underneath the school. In 2008 (I think it was that year, but definitely before 2012), we had a freak snowfall that caused water pipes to freeze and burst. This led to the discovery of sealed-off classrooms under the school, and they even found items such as notebooks, lunchboxes, pencils, chalk, books, etc. in there. The administration investigated and found that there were indeed records of the underground classrooms being sealed off in a hurry in the 50s, but no reason is given in the records. The basements was also used as a temporary morgue during an outbreak of yellow fever in the 1910s/1920s, and the tunnels underneath the place lead to residences and churches.

Hmm, I know about Concordia and El Paso High School. I've heard some stuff about Austin High, and I've been to it once (a long time ago), and it's odd: cell-phones don't work in certain areas, for one. It's the oldest school after El Paso High.

>>17443169
Have you heard anything about Anthony High?
Apparently a kid named Tommy Sanchez was stabbed and killed there, anyone have anymore info on that. I'm very interested on the history of it.

Dude, I was with a buddy hithchiking through there, we let spirit decide what random roads to turn on and go. Led us right to the metaphysical center and a tai chi plaza. Real shit. Took us to their front door after walking for like an hour.

I live in El Paso. There are some spoops to be had around here. But eastside (which I live in) doesn't have that many spooky stuff. The good locations are around downtown and the lower valley.

Sorry. I don't know anything. All I know is that the football field at Anthony High School is named 'Tommy Sanchez' - perhaps in memory of this person you mentioned?

It's not like downtown is that far from the Eastside...
>>
>>17441280
Ah, I forgot put in some locations I know. There is an abandoned air field nearby Horizon City. Very creepy to see beatup, hollow planes in a remote location.

Also, a place called "Six Poles" in Mission Valley. They said it was haunted but it was pretty lackluster.

There is an abandoned YWCA in the far east, very spoopy and trashed up.

There is that abandoned amusement park, but they cleaned and demolished most the stuff there.

The desert in the far east and around Horizon is pretty spooky with alleged witch gatherings, desert apes, and missing people.
>>
Another El Paso fag here.

Walked Concordia many times after midnight, not very spooky.

Six Poles was lame.

I'm also an EMT, and talk to a lot of different people who work in hospitals. The building on the corner of Cotton and Murchinson is supposedly the most haunted. It used to be El Paso General, now houses LTAC with the fourth floor completely closed off.

The ghost tours downtown are pretty fun, more for the history than the spoops.

Also, what the fuck is wats app >>17443161? I dont have time for shitty apps, but I might text you later.

Southern here. I went to El Paso for about five days to have sex with an internet girl. You guys don't know shit about heat. Dry heat is paradise compared to humidity.

Anyway, I live in Tennessee and it's mostly valleys and hills with trees everywhere. When I was out there it spooked the fuck out of me with how I could see clouds shadowing an entire stretch of miles off in the distance and everywhere else was sunny. I've never seen that. It's probably normal to you guys but it was spoop as fuck to me.

Also, I saw Mexico from her university. Looked like shit. The Mexicans everywhere were pretty spooky too. Man the Southwest is weird.

I heard the taco Bell on 5th and Mason is haunted. I got a burrito there once and it scared the fuck out of me

used to live in El Paso, the restaurant Monteleone's in supposed to be haunted. Even without the spoops, it's a pretty cool place, would recommend.
the ghost tours are shit, they use the maglight technique to dupe people and a stupid "ghost detector".
