Pretty good one, I wish they'd used the canonical emergency alert system tone though.
>>
Why is this posted?
>>
>>17425532
You'd think they could give you some information about what's actually going on. They seem to know at least a few things, and fear of the unknown is one of the worst things ever, so you'd think whoever was sending that message would try to allay that fear as much as possible.

Nevertheless, still creepy enough to make me regret watching it at 4 a.m.
>>
>>17425556
It's kind of odd that the message tells you it's vitally important to stay silent at all times while it continuously blasts a fucking siren. At least the real EAS noise only happens at the beginning and end of the message.
>>
>>17425852
What if THEY are the ones sending the message?!?!?

Tv spook threads spook me above all.
>>
>>17425532
This is fake. One of the fake videos similar to the "don't look at the sun" one or the "kill your children, the US has surrendered" videos. Also, the Asian lady in >>17427524 is Ming-Na Wen, the voice of Mulan and a main character in a popular US drama series called ER. It's all fake, you faggots. Probably made for a grade in a film class.
>>
>>17428173
We know it's fake, we are appreciating how it is actually spoopy.
>>
>>17428137
I really wanna see an illustration of the "Blood of the Moon" now. Seems spooky enough.

Though when the Moon is moving on Cam B, is that not really the Moon since it's supposed to be able to enter every one's houses? Is the Blood of the Moon blocking/replacing or sponging off the actual moon?
>>
>>17428173
>kill your children, the US has surrendered
Which one's that one?
>>
>>17428207
It's called Contingency, it's by the same guy that did the "don't look at the sun" video

Gods, I need more creepy PSAs.

Here's another guy who's made some pretty creepy EAS videos:

to make one believable you have to make an identity that tweets emergencies, post news, and gain a lot of followers. get blogs/new outlets to follow you and then use the real emergency alert system sounds and similar voice/edit. Next you have to have a similar screen that interrupts television with the emergency alert. Hijack the signal, use that video and upload the video and tweet it at the same time.

That's how you do this type of stuff, this shit is just lame.
>>
>>17428473
then why haven't you done it yet?

>inb4 no resources
>>
>>17428482
because most average normal day degenerates don't waste time with faking a broadcast for the laughs and giggles. Irredeemable degenerates only do that.
>>
>>17428137
created this thread in the hopes that someone would post this.
thak you
>>
>>17428473
I'm pretty sure that no one who makes these EAS videos is actually trying to fool anyone into believing they're real. They're just doing it for fun and creativity. Not to mention that what you're talking about is probably a federal offense.
>>
>>17428513
I know, but sometimes they are just the stupidest shit I've ever seen, at least do some work and use real emergency alert signal sounds, not shitty 8/16-bit pitch shifts.
>>
>>17428534
Most of the YouTube EAS videos I've seen actually do use the real sounds. The one in the OP is the exception rather than the rule.

at the end, this is what flashes for a second. What do you suppose it means?

>>17428615
It's fake, dude. The guy who made this makes a whole bunch of other similar stuff for a fake channel called local 58. It doesn't mean anything. It's just a piece of convincing art

>The guy who made this makes a whole bunch of other similar stuff for a fake channel called local 58.

I wouldn't say it's a "whole bunch". There are only two Local 58 videos, unless I've just missed the others. I do hope he makes more, though, because they're pretty entertaining.
>>
>>17428621
I know it's fake, dude. I was just wondering what it meant in the context of the scenario.
>>
>>17428671
I'd guess it means that the bit saying that the video was a hoax was a government lie to cover up the mass suicide program's existence.
>>
>>17428722
I agree. I think that's exactly what it is.
>>
>>17425532
I love this thing so much.

It's a hoax, but it's a great creepy video.

The original pasta that went with this video:
>“The Wyoming Incident (or The Wyoming Hijacking) is a lesser known case of television broadcast hijacking/hacking. A hacker managed to interrupt broadcasts from a local programming channel (believed to serve several smaller communities in the county of Niobrara) and aired his/her own video. The video contained numerous clips of disembodied human heads showing various emotions and “poses”. The camera position changed often (usually every ten-to-fifteen seconds) and the video was often interrupted by a “SPECIAL PRESENTATION” announcement…The video is mostly locally well-known, and would probably not even be that popular if it were not for the effects it had on the few residents who watched it for an extended period of time. Complaints included vomiting, hallucinations, headaches, etc. While some believed it was paranormal, specialists have determined that the cause of these afflictions were frequencies played regularly throughout the broadcast.”
