Saw something in my room when i was smaller. I was top bunk in my bed. It was by my shut door. Slender and squatting. Greyish but more of a rusty grey. it looked up at me and had no mouth or nose. Its eyes were the most important feature. It looked like an old bad tv connection. You know the white and black scrambly dots? But with no light in them. Its face was an oval. Its extremities were also strangely elongated.

Hey OP! I made this request in another drawfag thread but no one answered. I'm writing a three-part post-apocalyptic epic that's kind of a marriage between Tolkien and Lovecraft. The main antagonist used to be the protagonist's best friend, until he was 'possessed' by an entity that drove him to sacrifice people he knew to make a sacrifice and revive an elder god. This resulted in the end of the world, and drove this guy mad. He's still being influenced by the elder god, and is functionally immortal, as the god will keep reviving him again and again until he's murdered the main character and his friends who are on a quest to protect the few people left on earth. So... I'd like a portrait of this spooky guy to help inspire my writing.
He looks and acts kinda like an 80's slasher villain, freakishly tall and hobo-like, with long messy hair, but wears a rusted old fashioned welding mask, the rectangular kind with a small horizontal slit (he's sensitive to light after partially seeing the elder god and it also works as armor). Usually in a long, dark coat, with various paranormal-esque symbols and amulets.
The rest is up to whoever draws this. Feel free to change anything you want, I'm curious to see the talents of /x/.
(I'm also looking for guest artists for a spoopy-comedy web-comic I'm planning on reviving, if anyone's interested)

Can someone draw some weird creature I became in a dream? it was essentially just a mass of hundreds of dark arms outstretched in all directions which it uses to support itself as it reaches out and grabs onto everything, with a large gaping maw open in a sharp toothy smile somewhere at the centre of its being, formed from where all the arms connect. Floating just above it is a large black Orb/pupil seeing out in all directions, which can invert on itself and then appear as a bunch of normal but more flat eyes on every surface around it.
I'd draw it myself but I have the artistic skills of a 3 year old.

For me in my dream the arms represented the ability to reach out and control everything around me. The mouth was hunger, something that could devour endlessly. The eye was obviously sight, being able to see out in all directions, and from all directions inward.

Holy shit, I had a nightmare with a similar creature too, years ago. In my dream it had multiple long arm-necks with gaping maws on the other end, with teeth made of sharpened bones. The dream started like some kind of generic D&D quest for some reason, where my friends and I were hired to kill a demon, but in the end we found out that the real quest was to feed the demon, and it ended with us trapped in a locked dungeon with it. When we all died horribly, my ghost somehow left the tunnels and realized that it was a buried skyscraper in a post apocalyptic desert. I eventually turned this into a short story.
In fact I wrote it in my dream journal, just havent painted it yet. I called him Cthulhu because that was the first thing I thought of when I woke up, but now I'm unsure when I think of the image. Here's what I wrote:
"I dreamt about Cthulhu and the old ones. Instead of sleeping in the ocean, his body and tendrils wrapped around the earth. He could reanimate the dead and control bodies and people. There was no God. He was in charge."

That's almost exactly what happened in my dream! I started out as just me sitting in my room, then I sort of just "released" my idea of being a single form and became whatever I felt. First it was just a bunch of arms sprouting out of me, if I wanted to reach for something I just grew a new arm for it, until eventually I started using them to reach out and move. I didn't really touch the ground, just put a bunch of arms on either side of the room so I could move about in any direction, up, down, left right. Eventually I was just arms, reaching outward. I also used arms kind of like I used energy work, I just reached out with invisible ones and held people, putting a a hand inside of their head and animating their actions.
Then there was the eye, somehow I figured it was illogical to be a mass of arms but have no eyes, so I made one which saw everything and I used eyes in everything to sort or represent empathy. To see from all other perspectives, to feel and see as the world around me. I could have just done this without eyes, but eyes seemed so much cooler.
The mouth came last when I kinda got hungry. It was to represent desire, the feeling in your whole body when you want something, but my body was just a mass of weird shit, so that weird shit grew a big mouth (still not really sure where it connected exactly?) across it. Last I remember was figuring welp I'm a big ol' cosmic monster now and deciding I desired to eat the everything because it seemed fitting.
