I had a similar experience in my early twenties. I was living in the basement, smoking ungodly amounts of weed, working for my dad, playing video games all night, etc. This was the early 2000's. Anyway for my birthday a year or so before, my sister gave me one of those Hulk Hogan dolls that you can beat up and he would talk and shit as a joke because me and my friends used to watch the Monday night wars and get a kick out of it. I had something similar happen except it occurred after having watched a video on Youtube called something like "opening interdimensional portals" which was linked on /r/creepy with people commenting that they felt strange after watching it, the images made them panic-y, etc., the usual.
I watch the video and of course feel nothing so click the back button and all of a sudden the words on the page start forming into this spirally fractally looking thing with moving parts. I panic'ed cuz I'm lame and retarded like that(I'm a grill so I'm allowed to be a wuss) and shut off the computer lol .... I have been back to both pages since - both the reddit creepy post and the youtube video itself - but did have been unable to replicate the effect.

There was a photo similar to this (except much more graphic) I came across a year or two back depicting a korean woman who had committed suicide in her bathtub and hadn't been found for months. Her face was bloated and grey, looking like a prop from a body horror flick, the eyes looked like a sheep's and her mouth was full of maggots. One of the rare instances I was physically and emotionally shaken by a photo, making me question humanity. Another one I remember was a kid who was literally addicted to inflicting flesh wounds on himself, I'm talking literally ripping his limbs open to a near fatal point, I think he was incapable of experiencing pain. Wouldn't be surprised if he's dead or committed to an institution. I'd be interested if anyone could actually find these, since I've searched far and wide.

Now, I'm going to pause here. You know that thing that happens to drunk people where their mind stops recording memories, but they still do shit? Then they later on wake up, not remembering jack, and someone has to tell them about the weird shit that they did? Immediately after kicking away my phone, I went I to that kind of trance. The next sparse pieces I don't actually remember, and can't recreate the scene in my head. I only know what happened after looking at my phone the following morning. I had texted a friend, calling her for help, as I was apparently hallucinating or something of the sorts.
