I remember there being a story about a group of kids drinking, hanging out there that my friend's friend told him about a buddy he knew (sorry for confusing logic).
one of them walked up to the top. At the end of the stairs was a cliff and he fell down to what they thought was the lake beneath. Said they didn't hear a splash though. Kid wasn't found for 10 days. found him asleep, starving in his closet at home one day. rushed him to the hospital. asked him what happened, couldn't speak. his brother leans in and he whispers something in his ear and dies of a heart attack. his brother never told anyone what he said, and he killed himself days later.
