I come from the anti-cosmic slant of Gnosticism. I view it preferable to return unto Ain to liberate the spirit. Recently I've read an essay that brought up the possibility of Ain Soph reconciling its self and eliminating the Demiurge producing a type of existence that's more free from suffering which we currently experience. Which I can agree with but find to be not that great of an idea because I'm sure it's happened over and over again.
