Live in a really old house off campus from my college with some roomates

This weird foot imprint showed up on the wall in my room. Its too small to be anyone in the house. This wall was also leaking water a bit because they didnt fix the roof, so its as if it was imprinted when it was wet still

Any ideas? I mean I really dont believe in these kinds of things normally but this is weird

The water is causing the grease print from a previous tenants foot to be more visiable.
