I have a fascination with rom hacked games that are either intentionally or unintentionally creepy.
Does anyone else like playing with weird/creepy rom hacks? If so do you have any recommendations?

While not entirely original with the whole murdered person backstory which was probably inspired by that one super mario world creepypasta rom hack I found the different textures interesting. It's a pretty short game with not much else to do. I'm curious about the sign at the end though. Just before you get to it there's a huge sand pit with a spoopu face at the bottom that kills you. I'm curious about what the sign says and what might be behind that door if there is anything there at all. If any of you have played this has anyone ever made it over the pit? Is it possible to get there at all? I've tried to get there but I can't seem to make it.

When it comes to trying to be scary, yeah it's shit. I just like exploring the content they put into it and maybe catching something that's been missed. Sort of like how people go on that 90s site Worlds.com and explore those abandoned rooms. I like doing shit like that.
