Seems about the size of a Croc to me. Entirely possible its carcass was disposed of in the middle of nowhere intentionally with hopes it wouldn't be found easily.
>>
>>17318737
a dead crocodile that a trash bag ans floated to and riped open onto then baked in the sun for a week or 2

probably near where the trash barge island sank in the pacific. some one threw out a whole crocodile
>>

A shit tier thread that's what.
>>
Does "crocodile" mean a 200 million fucking year old creature to the guys in this thread? like what the fuck how do you think that's the size of a crocodile. It's probably a whale carcass that's rotting or some shit
>>
>>17318892
I assumed it was a whale too but the tail suggests a crocodile. It has the same sort of ridges but that's probably just the spine.

That long "tentacle" is a crocodile tail.
>>
>>17318894
Now that you mention it that does seem more like a spine than ridge.
>>
>>17318895
Where the fuck did you read tentacle? But no, I'm almost positive it's a thing called "vertebrae", which make up a "spine". You've never seen a fucking crocodile in real life if you think that thing looks like one, the proportions are fucked and that thing would be a MONSTER.

It doe look more like a partial 'spine'- tossed off bit of carcass over the side of a whaling vessel-- near Iranian oil platform??- but I'm not throwing out the ocean-fairing albino crocodilian theory, either. On the other hand, it could be the only photographic evidence of an aquatic croco-stimpy... Where she goes, nobody knows!
>>
>>17318929
I wasn't quoting you saying "tentacle", I used quotes as in "it looks somewhat like a tentacle". If you google image a crocodile tail, that is a crocodile tail in OP. Albeit, a decayed and waterlogged crocodile tail, but a crocodile tail, nonetheless.
>>
>>17318929
I think you are the one who has never seen a crocodile tail in real life.

>almost positive that's a spine

Really, Captain Kangaroo? You know your cryptozoological anatomy that well? So well that you can't tell a fucking TAIL from a spine? Sure, mate. Tell your buddy Jacques Cousteau I said to pay me my $20 that he owes me when you see him.
>>
It's just a crocodile, Jesus.
>>
It's not a god damn crocodile tail, it's definitely part of the bone structure.
>>
>>17318969
It's a whale spine dude. Look at the fucking structure of a spine. Literally google "whale spine", if you don't feel fucking stupid after that then you must just be flat out blind.
>>
>>17318737
Rotting whale with its spine exposed.
>>
>>17318969
irl or pictures of real ones wtf diff?

If you look at tails AND spines at the same time and think about it, it tends to look like spines.

Finally, I'd don't associate with crackheads so shit outta luck with the 20 pal.

decomposed whale remains that surfaced due to the build up of natural gas. Freaky shit.
>>
>>17319111

You should see one in real life. There's a blue whale skeleton in the London Natural History Museum. It's absolutely terrifying seeing something so huge with such bizarre proportions.
>>
>>17319111
I wonder what those two little floating bones under the rear third of that motherfucker are. Maybe they're magnetic and used for global positioning. Maybe they're used for tuning in the songs of other whales in the oceans, of other planets? Fucking whales just creeped me out.
>>
>>17319137

They're vestigial limbs; the remnants of rear legs before they became fully aquatic.

Their ancestors are just as creepy. Imagine walking past a river or a pond and having this fucker come running up out at you (ambulocetus).

Its a whale
>>
>>17318737

Too many people are saying this is a croc, when it's clearly a dead whale. You can see the vertebra on the tail just like a whale's skeleton. A croc's tail fringe isn't made of bone and the 'spines' on their vertebra are much thinner than in the pic.

See >>17319074 and compare to this pic.
>>
>>17318737
To me that looks like the corpse of a whale shark, the thing that looks like a tentacle being the spine.
>>
>>17318929
No, it's body mass has degenerated due to it sitting in the sun/decomposing in the salt. It's oversaturated with salt water and has drifted by the currents. It could be a whale spine, but a whale wouldn't have scales on it's spine.
>>
>>17318892
Yo dude some Crocs can be 25+ ft long, and that long appendage in the pic definitely looks like a Crocs or gator tail.

>>

It was taken in the Persian gulf
Also nice trips
>>
Holy shit dude thats kos, watch out for the orphan
>>
Upon observing the video in 1080p I can make out a rib cage that is too small for a whale, so I'm going with a very large, water logged, burst open croc carcass.

With the human arms around for rough scale you can make out a lower jawbone as well that seems more fitting of a croc than a whale. I will say this though, it does seem unusually fleshy.

Also found this while looking for a carcass to compare to
http://www.documentingreality.com/forum/f10/two-men-kill-crocodile-find-body-parts-stomach-9944/
I hold to the possibility someone was trying to ditch evidence and the means of its disposal.

Do you morons realize that vertebrae are a bunch of inndividual bones not one ducking long bone. How the fuck are those vertebrae sticking together outside of its body in the ocean and floating on water? Do you morons even think before posting.

looks like a famous and mysterious Crocodile Whale

A crocale
>>
>>17326516
It looks like it still has enough rancid gas filled meat attached to it to keep it afloat.

Unless you have a better explanation for why we're seeing what we're seeing, I'm not sure what you're even getting at.
>>
>>17326516

Ligaments, my angry friend. Ligaments.
>>
>>17318931
beat me to it
>>
>>17318737
It's a decomposing wale.

When they die they stay afloat at the surface and birds and other shit will hitch a ride, and possible pick nick.

After a few days the carcass will be eaten/decayed enough and will fall to the bottom of the ocean for crustaceans to have a feast on
>>
>>17325883
I'm not from /b/ hiss hiss lol
>>
>>17319016
Marine biologist here. That's not a whale spine the vertebrae would need to be closer together. You should feel retarded
>>
>>17327026
So the whole body decomposes asides from the bones and ligaments decompose. Fucking bullshit those ligaments would have long have been decomposed meaning those individual vertebral bones that make up the spine would have separated. There is no way they're still attached.

>>17326914
I don't know what it is but I'm not going to entertain some bullshit theory and spew bullshit when I don't know what it is.

>>
>>17328498
