Well we don't use Neptune, Uranus or Pluto, and when we talk about your "sign" we refer to the Moon sign. Also, vedic is based on the actual planetary positions, so it's about 23 degrees difference from Western.
Those are just some differences. Vedic also has many many more things in it that Western never even explored.

Dasha system, for one. Many more you'd have to find for yourself. Some I don't even recall by name, but just know how they work/are calculated.
Also, we have the ancient texts by sages from many moons ago.

Dasha is about prediction timing of events in one's life. Marriage, death, kids, career, etc. I don't know how accurate it is.
The general meanings of the planets are too similar to those in Western but there are distinct differences as well.

Yup, they are Western not Eastern. That's what is boils down to. The sages did not say o use them. But we also have many invisible planets like Ketu and Rahu which greatly influence us.

Rahu and Ketu are the moon's shadow planets. When there is less than a full moon it is because Ketu (or rahu, i forgot honestly) is covering it.

We have nakshatras which is 27 star constellations every planet goes through. There are 2.5 nakshatras per zodiac sign and delve deeper than the zodiac
