Recently I've started talking to my friend's sister and found out we had a lot in common.....like everything in common.
We think the same act the same talk the same watch the same things eat the same food which doesn't sound very paranormal until we go deeper.
After talking for a while with her she opened up to me about recurring nightmares she's had, revolving around a reflection killing her family and herself. I have had near identical recurring nigtmares, he only manor difference is in mine i often see the reflection step out of a mirror while she sees it just sat somewhere, other than that these dreams are identical. The longer we talked, the stranger it's gotten. It's gotten to the stage that if she says her leg is sore i know which leg it is and where the pain is, because I'm experiencing the same pain.
While she was in college yesterday i was at home sick, at 12:07 she blacked out for exactly three minutes....as did I.
The strangest part is we have no similar environments or age ranges or place we were raised, nothing, she grew up in a house of girls, I a house of boys, she grew up in a near enough village to me, but no similar schools or friends other than her sister but even then i met her in the past year, and she's for years younger than me so we didn't even grow up watching the same tv shows.
Can any /x/philes please explain what the actual fuck is happening here i don't usually believe in paranormal things I'm a man of science but i cannot find a single logical explanation for all of this. Thanks for reading.

Statistically speaking it isn't impossible for two people to have several things or everything in common without any direct relation or correlation.
Unless you're able to spread this condition to someone else thereby demonstrating an observable inexplicable effect or in some way influence each other by will outside of chance observation there's nothing we can take from this. There have been times I've called family and told them how my weekend went only to find theirs had several similarities, I didn't assume there was a destiny thread. You've mentioned similar dreams, similar points of exhaustion, similar experiences of pain. We'll start with those. Now primarily these sound like psychological evaluations of stimuli so it's hard to say how much if any physically measurable effect can be taken but whatever the case instead of focusing on what I'll call the negative stimuli, i.e. pain, discomfort, fatigue, etc consider the possibility of positive feedback from such a supposed link.
Theoretically speaking it should not be possible, it would violate the conservation of energy, but if in fact she or you get tired as a result of the other's activities then one should try living normally and well rested for a week while the other exercises routinely and builds strength and stamina. In fact attempting to "break" the system as much as possible could involve things like irregular sleeping patterns where one takes 20 minute naps despite not being tired remaining constantly refreshed while the other continues regular sleep schedule. Now there could be any number of results from such a test but in the event this isn't a negatives only pattern the possibility of someone achieving what could only be defined as "superhuman strength" would occur, namely they would be in average physique but have the constitution of someone who exercises regularly. Similarly with the sleep pattern test the person who would sleep at regular hours should find they never get tired because one "half" is always in a state of rest and so on.
These are all unpolished theory evaluations, I'll get to more polished ideas after a few hours of consideration, but my point is you'll want to start off by testing the limits of how this connection works. Once you've felt out the "form" and "flow" the tests can be better suited to analyze the process.

Well, there's few things to know about me really. Anything Loonie has said about me is entirely true. My favourite style of music is classic rock. I like doing weird things. I like reading. Tiny things like that.
However, if we're talking about mental state/health that's a whole other story. I have a pretty harsh case of Anxiety and suffer greatly from nightmares. Sometimes I'm afraid to go to sleep. Every night, it's the same dream. It always has something to do with a reflection of myself, black eyes, and an un-hinging jaw.
Everytime, it would kill my family, and proceed to kill me. Resulting in it dying as well.
It's very scary and vivid, but since I've met/started talking to Loonie, they've lessened. I can control what happens in my dreams a little better, although they're still vivid and quite scary.

The dreams are not quite so significant, if an effect they're less important than the cause.
For example I received news in 2007 from an associate interested in abnormal conditions as well about a man who lost the need to sleep. Not the ability, the need. The effect would seem like insomnia upon diagnosis and go treated as such but that tells us nothing of what happened to cause his situation and having lost contact I believe he never found out, which is very unfortunate. Granted, as a society we're already criminally overworked with sleepless nights even without any such condition to encourage it, but I think such a study could have benefits for those with insomnia or the effects of severe sleep deprivation. While we're already on the skeptical event horizon of suspension of disbelief I'll just note there's claim Nikola Tesla, as much held to exaggerated myth as he has become, only needed 2 hours of sleep at most and recently there's theory potentially 1% of the human population has a similar capability. Thing is they adjust to the normal 8 hour sleep patterns of society and go unnoticed. This is why it's important for us to approach every curious situation with skepticism but intent to analyze and either prove or disprove through measurable results, not merely belief or disbelief which are completely worthless measures of anything.
Any events prior the current situation are more relevant to determine how things came about. Things that used to happen but no longer do, things that happened once you can't explain and so on.
