MA resident here. its ok, but nothing special. sort of like Disney land for history buffs. Its cool for all of an afternoon or two but then you've pretty much seen everything and then its all locals trying to sell you "authentic historical" garbage. Don't go on Halloween because its all of that X10, but a bunch of stupid college kids looking to get drunk and scared (unless that's your thing)\same with the lizzie Borden house and the woods in Fall River that had some cult activity in the 1980s

I live here! It's pretty touristy but we do have some cool things and besides the obnoxious drunk tourists the fall atmosphere is pretty nice. September is better if you want more chill.

Danvers State was fucked up before it became condos but idk much about spooping around here that isn't just people's personal house stories, which obviously isn't a tourist experience..
