You know what's creepy?
Theres a very old prophesy in the Church about this Pope. Apparently, some guy from the 12th century named St. Malachy correctly predicts every single Pope since his own time. He predicted that the 112th Pope, who happens to be Pope Francis, would be the False Prophet. There are several uncannily accurate predictions about Francis. For example, Malachy claimed that his name would be Peter the Roman. Francis' moniker for his Papacy is Petrus Romanus, which in Latin means "Peter the Roman." Apparently, Francis is the last Pope until Jesus comes back.

Do I believe in all of this?
I don't know. But the prophesy about Francis are unique in that they name specific names, rather than simply guessing and providing vague ideas, such as with the prophesies of Nostradamus and others.

Heres some additional reading:

the prophesy says teh 112th pope would be called Peter the Roman.

Francis' moniker for his entire Papacy is "Petrus Romanus" (Peter the Roman).
>>
He is the most unorthodox of all Popes. What else is unique about him that indicates he's a false prophet? What does this mean for Christianity and Catholicism?

The Koran is a book of peace... let's see what the Word of God says:

Galatians 1:8

He's not really that orthodoxed. He speaks beautiful progressive things and then turns around and passes church legislation that punishes whistleblowing and reduces transparency. The church doesn't really punish its child raping priests, it merely admonishes them and places them somewhere else. It's almost like that one Catholic Church skit Louis CK made. A representation of God shouldn't have anything to hide.

>>17277456
How do we know that the Church itself made up those prophecies? And through extreme act of memory and multi-century of planning, it made it seem like its fulfilling this prophecy. Then boom, send in a cosmic image of Jesus a la bluebeam, sacrifice a couple churches, and you have almost all of the christian world that used to be divided bundled together into one religion a Jesus that is really satan. Sounds like a really good book.

Jesus isn't coming back, there are no false prophets, Christ's or Anti-Christ's, no God coming to save from all this.

Go outside and try to focus on something that actually exists, enjoy real life. Don't worry about stuff that has nothing to do with you.
>>
>>17278503
The Jesuit's full name is the Society of Jesus of Saint Loyola. It is probably one of the more effective and unknown legit orders for learning magick. They hide what they do through the Catholic Church's system, to avoid heresy accusations. There have been Jesuits who engage in language development, guerrilla warfare, and other slightly shady activity. None of this is provable, because some of the people who have "come out" have been proven frauds. Jack Chick got strung along by one and put the lies in his tracts on the Catholic Church.

Why do you think there must be one antichrist or one false prophet?

I understand there are many antichrists and false prophets, not just one.

Also, as Jesus is Christ, I guess Satan could also be man at one point, but I believe Christ is still, and can appear and keep in touch through many people or by himself, and so can the other guy.

So I see no reason to consider Francis the ultimate false prophet, just another one.

In this time and age there are hundreds of thousands of them.
>>

>>
Nice forgery debunked literally hundreds of years ago.

>These prophecies have served no purpose. They are absolutely meaningless. The Latin is bad. It is impossible to attribute such absurd triflings... to any holy source. Those who have written in defence of the prophecy... have brought forward scarcely an argument in their favour. Their attempts at explaining the prophecies after 1590 are, I say with all respect, the sorriest trifling.

To understand pope Francis you have to start on where he comes from: Argentina.
what's so interesting about Argentina? (besides the memes) Religious diversity. Easily the most diverse in Latin America (lots of Muslims&Jews).
Argentina is also a 3rd/2nd world country (depending on the generation).
Argentina is enormous in comparison with the amount of people it has.
Pope Francis has witnesses religions living peacefully side by side, and I believe he believes this is possible worldwide.
what he fails to comprehend is Argentina isn't the world. In 2nd/3rd world countries religion comes before state. In Argentina you can live how you want to live more or less, regulate your own smaller communities, have open space for autonomy. Yes there's corruption but there is by far more freedom, socially at least. you can be a devout jew, christian, muslim etc FIRST, or be loyal to your family/community, and then to the state.

In 1st world countries state comes before religion. this is why Muslim populations by and large are a failure in 1st world countries. Allah is always before the state, the people, whoever. This does not wane in their community unlike say the Latin America who comes to America or the Jew from Israel, buddist from Asian etc.

in mass Muslims will never adopt the values of the nations they migrate to because that would mean abandoning Allah. This is not a criticism of their group, simply a documented reality. A lot of world leaders for some reason do not understand this incompatibility.

He's misusing Scripture. Just because the Pope is not enabling a right wing agenda is why they are doing this, because apparently hiding massive child rape is okay, but preaching peace a,d equality is not. This Pope is literally just focusing on Christ and the Gospels. Many people are as the Pharisees and hypocrites and they can't stand him for this reason.

The man is not preaching any other Gospel than what Christ Himself taught. People are just disappointed because they want him to call Muslims bloodthirsty heathens. Nowhere has Francis endorsed anybody following Islam, or any other faith for that matter, and doctrinally he has changed nothing regarding the sins of abortion or divorce and homosexuality is still considered a sin. As is lying, thieving, lusting, all sorts of things others are guilty of.

He's restoring the Church to believing in Christ, who frankly taught things that would get him branded a Socialist Marxist by almost every shrill shill on the right. And the left tried to make him out to be some liberal Pope, which he is quite frankly not.

Preaches peace, forgiveness, humility, grace, and sheltering the poor, downtrodden, orphans and widows, reinforcing a rich man as a camel through the eye of a needle and the love of money being the root of all evil.

On the other hand, we have literal Mammon worshippers, puffed up, vain, prideful, utterly blemished, boasting openly of turning back "even the widows and orphans under 5" and "don't need to apologize to God for anything"(Christie, Trump)

So if you shall come to me saying, behold the face of evil, don't be so surprised when I show you a visage of its downward pointing star.

Several historians have concluded that the prophecies are a late 16th‑century forgery. Spanish monk and scholar Benito Jerónimo Feijóo y Montenegro wrote in his Teatro Crítico Universal (1724–1739), in an entry called Purported prophecies, that the high level of accuracy of the alleged prophecies up until the date they were published, compared with their high level of inaccuracy after that date, is evidence that they were created around the time of publication. The prophecies and explanations given in Wion correspond very closely to a 1557 history of the popes by Onofrio Panvinio (including replication of errors made by Panvinio), which may indicate that the prophecies were written based on that source.

TL;DR "look guise I can predict things after they happen"

I agree the Pope is not advocating Islam over Christianity. He is proclaiming the doctrine of Islam and the book in which it is contained to be "peaceful."

The Apostle Paul writes that any doctrine contrary to that which He and the Apostles preach is accursed. The doctrine of Paul and the Apostles is the doctrine of Christianity: namely that Jesus, who is God, lived and died to redeem man and offer them eternal salvation through His Resurrection.

The Koran denies Jesus' divinity and denies His Crucifixion. It is thus to be called accursed. I understand the practical reasons behind it: placating his followers, maintaining his image, making people's feelings feel nice, etc. But it is not scriptural.

>Theres a very old prophesy in the Church about this Pope.
It's not very old. Less than 1000 years. It's also not a real prophecy. It was written to convince people that a specific cardinal becoming pope was divinely ordained. The guy never became pope, and every prediction of who would be pope after that guy was also incorrect. This is all information in the Wikipedia article you linked.
>>
Heres an idea, lets look at the term "false prophet" from an esoteric perspective.

It could allude to him being the last "leader" that followers of God look outwardly to as an authority figure. Of course he is just a man who has no authority when compared to God. On the contrary, the resurrection of Jesus, that is... "Christ consciousness" which is bestowed upon all who have "the eyes to see" inwardly, will be known as the absolute truth and authority of things.
>>
>>17277456
Sorry, but Ratzinger fit the last pope. The prophecy was wrong - Francis is after the prophesy by 1 pope, and this is me being nice. He's actually out of the prophesy by 2 popes but we all ignore John Paul 1 who was Pope for little over a month.

Many things. As mentioned above, his is the number of the number of the last pope given in the Malachy prophecy.

He is also the first Jesuit to ever be pope.

He is also one of a very few who had his successor "resign" in his favor.

There is no better candidate in the world for False Prophet than this Black Pope.
>>
>>17278524
The pope forced the Jesuits to swear an oath never to seek or take the papacy; that no Jesuit could ever be pope.

Before this pope, the Jesuits kept that oath. This pope violated it.

This pope also reported that the crackers and juice he was taking for his eucharist turned into literal human cardiac tissue and literal human blood, both of which were tested and verified to be human.

Counterfeit signs and wonders are a hallmark of the end times.
>>
>>17279037
There are many antichrists, but there is only one Antichrist at the end. The prior ones were types of Antichrist, as Joseph and Melchizadek were types of Christ.

The false prophet and the antichrist are cast into the lake of fire. Satan will have fled them by this point, having possessed both of them.

Only time, and the existence of another pope, will tell if the Malachy prophecy is accurate. There were many of the descriptions that would have to be called a stretch in order to fit.
>>
>>17279589

The Vatican is not going to confirm that their pope is the False Prophet of Mystery Babylon.

They're going to lie. It's what they do.

Francis' father's name was Peter. The pope took Francis' name, knowing that.

The pope is the right age to have parents who fled fascist Italy after the war.

Jesus did not teach that you can follow your own conscience and get into heaven, nor did Jesus teach that He would not judge people who are gay and unbelievers.

There's nothing this pope teaches that Jesus taught, actually. And God's name is not Mercy, contrary to the pope's book.

When you don't know your own God's name, maybe you're not one of His.
>>
>>17280390
The pope actually teaches that global warming is a problem that must be dealt with, and that capitalism needs to go bye-bye.

The Catholics have always wanted to rule the world. So have the muslims, and so have the communists, and so has the NWO.
>>
>>17283997

The False Prophet will unite mankind under one religious umbrella, quite ecumenical, and hand the world over to the Antichrist. After this is done, at some point the Antichrist will turn on the False Prophet, and kill him, and destroy the new one world religion.

The Antichrist, possessed by satan, will do what satan has always from the beginning wanted to do: to be worshiped as God.

I believe the claim the Antichrist will make to being God is the creation of life; strong AI, a robot that looks like the Antichrist, that will be erected in the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt Temple, move, talk, and have power over the people who take the mark.

As the mark is increasingly looking like an RFID chip, this could mean that the chip people get implanted has some sort of destruct switch, as this robot AI has the power of life and death over them. Send a signal, that frequency, that person's mark ejects a poison, that person dies. Just like that.

I don't know what the Chronovisor is.
>>
>>17285123
The Malachy prophecy, no matter when generated, had how many popes there would be until the end.

That number of popes is now complete.

That you take the papist view, and declare that this prophecy is a counterfeit 400 years after its claimed date, fails to account for its accuracy from the 16th century to now.

There's nothing in my post you can refute.
>>
>>17285123

Disprove any one of these things in my post. Not ad homs, disprove them. Show they are less likely than not to be true.

1. Francis is the first Jesuit pope.
2. The Jesuit order was founded on an oath forsaking seeking the papacy.
3. The former pope is still alive. This hasn't happened for more than five hundred years.
4. This pope took the name Francis, whose father's name was Peter. He is literally claiming to be the son of Peter, from Rome.
5. There is no better candidate for the False Prophet of Mystery Babylon than the current Black Pope of Roman Catholicism.

New namefag, same idiot. You add nothing to any conversation I ever see you in.

The entire vatican is the false prophet.

Always has been.

In the quran there is a story about muhammad meeting an angel made of light named gabriel which started the basis of him becoming a prophet for islam.

That angel clearly was lucifer.

If the vatican supports the existence of islam, then it also supports lucifer.
>>
>>17285245
Aye, it is the home of the false prophet, and the headquarters of Mystery Babylon. It's very clear in the bible, which is why the Catholic church de-emphasizes the bible, and discourages its members from reading or understanding it.

It's literally the most evil institution on earth, yet who is taking arms against it?
>>
>>17285245
Worships Lucifer, in fact.

Martin had first made reference to a diabolic rite held in Rome in his 1990 non-fiction best-seller about geopolitics and the Vatican, The Keys of This Blood, in which he wrote:

"Most frighteningly for [Pope] John Paul [II], he had come up against the irremovable presence of a malign strength in his own Vatican and in certain bishops’ chanceries. It was what knowledgeable Churchmen called the ‘superforce.’ Rumors, always difficult to verify, tied its installation to the beginning of Pope Paul VI’s reign in 1963. Indeed Paul had alluded somberly to ‘the smoke of Satan which has entered the Sanctuary’. . . an oblique reference to an enthronement ceremony by Satanists in the Vatican. Besides, the incidence of Satanic pedophilia—rites and practices— was already documented among certain bishops and priests as widely dispersed as Turin, in Italy, and South Carolina, in the United States. The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the Fallen Archangel’s rites." (p. 632)

i think this thread makes a very valid argument, and a very good point that shouldn't be discredited

however, here is something that Paul says:

"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away."

it is said that the Lord days in the gospels:

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

i wonder what the vatica thinks of the irish prophecy of the popes?

And yet, Jesus also stated "The Kingdom of Heaven is from Within." Within us exists God. Within us is the ELectricity, that powers the conduit, the brain, which erects the temple of the third eye, which generates piezoelectric waves.

Which, under no circumstance, did he say "Go build a church in my honor and worship a carving of me on some large planks of wood." The only church I go to is the one inside myself, for the universe that really does matter is inside, rather than this temporary, material plane.

>This comic is top comfort paranormal. I believe about, oh, 50% of it, but my god what if it's all true?
No, it's a complete failure at history or theology(the main part is that it completely ignores Eastern Christendom. Like, there was a patriarch of Jerusalem in communion with Rome at the time. They wouldn't have needed to establish anything)
>>
>>17288242

>>
>>17288338
The Daily Mail has one of the lowest editorial standards in the entire modern media. In virtually any article, even like the ones about cute, funny animals, you can find at least one glaring failure. When it comes to science, religion and politics it's a joke and a well known one. It's very common in the Daily Mail, as an example, to source a claim to something like, "A very famous scientist." And that's it. It's a rag and no news story there should be taken at face value. It's a good practice to evaluate news from multiple sources anyway, but under no circumstances should you trust anything printed by the Daily Mail until you've verified it through multiple other, unrelated news outlets, preferably including at least one AP source.

tl;dr : yeah, it's actually not significantly superior to the World Weekyl News.

>ny analyses of the prophecy note that it is open to the interpretation that additional popes would come between the "glory of the olive" and Peter the Roman.[6][16] Popular speculation by proponents of the prophecy attach this prediction to Benedict XVI's successor.[1] Since Francis' election as Pope, proponents in internet forums have been striving to link him to the prophecy. Theories include a vague connection with Francis of Assisi, whose father was named Pietro (Peter).[3]
>>
>>17285244
> He is literally claiming to be the son of Peter, from Rome.
No, he isn't. That's just your interpretation of it.

And even if he did literally claim that, it doesn't matter. Because the prophecy says the final pope would be Peter the roman. Not "the son of peter the roman"

You can twist reality as much as you want, but it doesn't make the prophecy any more true or accurate.
And that's discounting the fact that it was never mentioned for the 400+ years between Malachy dying and it being published.
Or the fact that the only accurate descriptions are for Popes BEFORE it was published.
And even then it isn't entirely accurate and lists a few wrong people.

Benedict only ever said what every traditional Catholic thinks.

You're all accursed for denying the One True Church. If you've been good, you may just wind up spending a long-ass time in Purgatory. If you've been naughty, into Gehenna with you. Your cries of "Lord, Lord!" will mean nothing.
>>
>>17277456
You can say and sing till the cows come home, it doesn't change the blatant behaviour muslims exhibit towards there hosts. They trump it up to some great jihad but in reality they target the innocent and incapable. ie women, children, elderly.
>>
>>17278506
How are you so confident in that?

Fear cripples us to believe in the end life will go on, and these prophesies will be a memory. We have developed theories trying to avoid these things which must take place, but it will happen. Thousands of years and billions of people from the poorest peasants to the most corrupt kings are ensuring this.

This metamorphosis stage society will not last forever. The comfortability and pleasure that is becoming more readily available to us is a distraction for bigger things. Like exponential growth, like an explosion suddenly waking those who slumber, the end is coming whether people believe it or not. I urge you anon, to not be like those who are (or act) unaware and refuse to believe.
