Well, the rocket equation stuff is right. But the conclusion is off. There are other ways to reach orbit. Barring higher tech there is still options like a orbital lift and that would work on a heavier world too. The only reason we use rockets is that they are the most economical option on our world and with our tech. And no, we are not heavy worlders. Earth is on the lighter end of the scale of life bearing planets.
