The whole thing about lying is pretty curious. Of all the people I know, I'm probably the most blunt and honest, and most insistent on others I know being honest, mostly because I hate being fucked over. Mind games, manipulation, people lying to themselves and ruining their own lives for no reason... It's all pretty idiotic.
I am logical/analytical/reasonable. I'm a maths/physics major for one thing; generally skeptical, but also very open to alternative options and understanding of why people have different views. You can't call yourself reasonable if you don't accept that reality includes human error and poor judgement. On that note, I'm very empathetic and try to help people as much as possible, albeit willing to try to intentionally cut off emotions about things I can't change. Even so, I can be very emotional, just not to the point of instability. I don't tend to get angry at people, or uncontrollably sad - it's more of a conscious thing.
I know people think I come across as cold and uninterested, but it's mostly because I'm reserved in how I express myself. As far as sex and relationships go, I like the idea, but the reality is too complicated for me to want to step into by my own volition. Friends are exhausting enough, even when you try to surround yourself with mature and reasonable people. I'm quite happy spending my time reading, writing, absorbing various creative works, and working on mental skills.

If you're blowing people off without good reason, or otherwise acting inconsiderately, that's not actually very honest or straightforward. The excuse of bluntness may be used to cover up rude behaviour, sure, but I don't think that applies to someone who also goes out of their way to avoid inconveniencing others, and doesn't share their opinion unless it's appropriate or requested.

I don't know many Taurus but the ones I do know are extremely stubborn and closed off to alternative points of view unless it is specifically beneficial to them at that specific point in time. They will also argue and gives excuses even when they are wrong. Their logic has been essentially "if there is a 1% chance that I could be right then I am never wrong."

I had a theory that most good soccer goalies would be pisces. A lot of the technique is intuition. I was a phenomenal lacrosse goalie in high school. I'd make saves that I didn't even know how, I just moved my stick to the ball without thinking. I remember my first start on varsity, I was in the zone, and I carried the team and my adrenaline was so much that it was really an out of body feeling. I performed much worse in practice because my mind was never in it.
