No-one was able to solve the puzzle because they were designed to unsolvable. The whole things was created by a group of pretentious art students trying to make some free ad rev off conspiracy tards.

Cicada wanted to recruit intellectual people so they designed a special puzzle to attract them.
However, puzzle-decoding=/= difficulty. Just an illusion of difficulty because it takes much of your time.
Their puzzles revolve religion/Occult/astrophysics/literature/etc.
