Hey /x/ I want to tell you about something that happened to me when I was very little
>be 4 yrs old
>living in very old house, my parents had just moved from Germany to NY because they were stationed there
>going to bed one night, with a night light on
>i fall asleep
>i wake up briefly, and I'm not at all tired, in fact, I am strangely lucid
>open my eyes, see a series of silhouettes hovering over me
>pic related
>I feel no fear, I feel nothing, I fall immediately back to sleep
>the entire encounter lasted.. maybe 2 seconds
>I never forget that moment. I never really thought deeply about it, but it always lingered in the back of my mind throughout the years, it is one of my earliest memories, and I remember it more vividly than any memory of that time in my life, i never felt fearful about it
>years pass, be 13
>i was randomly talking to my dad about the old house we used to live in (we moved out when i was 5)
>he says 'you know that house was haunted, right?'
>my mind immediately, almost instinctively go to that moment when i was 4, the silhouettes, shapeless, staring, my entire body goes chill and I feel a deep sense of dread
>my dad continues
>"yeah, when we were leaving, the landlord told me, I didn't tell you because you were so young"
>he goes on to tell me that he woke up 3 different times for a brief moment to silhouettes hovering over him, staring
I had never told him about this moment. I had never considered it, but somehow, I didn't forget it. Is it possible that a psychological phenomena caused us to have the same dream? Or is this a personal evidence that I can have for myself?
